4Specific project objectives
- Education of representatives of BH Medical
faculties administration, teaching staff and
students about main procedures and techniques for
introducing ECTS system - Development ECTS Committee
- Preparation of bylaw
- Forming of implementation teams consisted of
representatives of teaching staff and students
5Education of representatives of BH Medical
faculties
- Education through two short training visits at
EU partner and in BH . - Lectures will be lead by experts from EU
partner Universities. - Active participation of our teaching staff.
- participants will be introduced with ECTS system
- Three persons from each Medical faculty will be
educated during project.

- what is ECTS and how to develop ECTS system
- difference between CTS and ECTS
- connection between local grades and ECTS grades
- introducing of ECTS
- making of key ECTS documents like information
package and course catalogue learning agreements

- difficulties with the introduction of ECTS,
- the advantages of ECTS
- connection between ECTS system,
- examination system and going from one year to
another, - calculation of ECTS credits and allocation to
different courses, - obtaining of credits in ECTS,
- students mobility and ECTS system
8Education of representatives of BH Medical
faculties/topics-final seminar
- More oriented toward practical training.
- Work in small groups with practical
explanations how to introduce ECTS credit system
on BH Medical faculties. - Work on allocation and labeling of courses with
appropriate number of credits. - Evaluation at the end of the project.
9Development ECTS Commities
- ECTS Committee will be in charge of
implementation of the credit system on
faculties. - Members of the each Faculty team and legal
representatives of the Faculty will be in charge
of forming of this Committee. - Main obligation of the Committee labeling of
different courses with appropriate credits. - Students will be included in comities.
10Preparation of bylaw
-
- Bylaw should contain recommendations and
suggestions for introducing ECTS. - Experts from EU Universities will participate in
this activity. - In the end of the project final document for
introducing ECTS will be developed - Implementation visit of EU experts will be
organized.
11Forming of implementation teams
- Each team will be consisted of representatives of
faculty administration teaching staff and
students from each participating faculty
