- To address the current and projected nursing
workforce deficit (one part of strategy) - To reduce vacant nursing positions to enable
financially accountable provision of nursing

The Future We are committed to consolidating
career pathways for Div 2 RNs. The ACTP is an
entry point into acute nursing and we aim to
further enhance the Div 2 RN role in all areas.
With extended scope of practice (medication
administration) and planned changes to the Cert
IV Nursing curriculum, we have embraced a unique
opportunity to lead advancements in Division 2
nursing in Victoria.
