In what time period did the Triceratops live?

• The Triceratops lived in the Cretaceous and
  Mesozoic time period.
• They became extinct towards the end of the
  Mesozoic time period.

Where are fossils found?

• There has been about 50 Triceratops skulls found
  around the world.Some partial skeletons have been
  found also.
• Fossils have been found in western Canada and the
  western United States.

How big was the Triceratops?

• The Triceratops weighed from about 6-12 tons.
• Their length was about 30 ft (9 meters) long.
• They were about 7ft(2 meters) tall

What did the Triceratops eat?

• The Triceratops were Herbivores.
• Back then they were preyed on by the
  Tyrannosaurus Rex.
• The Triceratops were preyed on they were not
  predators.

What did the Triceratops look like?

• The Triceratops had three horns two on the top of
  his head and one by its nose.
• They had a medium sized tail with little bumps on
  it.
• Their spines stuck out a little.
