HEI Signatories

• HERON can only digitise under licence for HEIs
  who have signed the licence!
• Need to find out who has signed!

Identification of titles

• Verifying is this a UK publisher?
• Need to be able to identify titles as fast as
  possible- check against HERON records- ask
  publisher concerned- get clearance if required

Multiple chapters

• Only once chapter/book or article/issue
• Need to identify material already digitised under
  licence as well as extra material requested

Digitisation only?

• Material may be requested for digitisation only,
  and end up needing clearance
• Need a method allowing subscribers to indicate
  whether they want non-licensed titles

Record keeping

• CLA requirements for record keeping mean more
  admin.
• Need to provide method for capturing and
  reporting relevant data
