Our Values Statement

• Circles was founded to create sustainable profit
  in an environment of open and honest
  communication, trust, and fun.
• It is an environment in which every employee has
  the responsibility for the excellence of their
  own performance and the overall success of the
  company.
• We believe that balance and learning lead to a
  meaningful and inspired life.
• We believe that with every decision we make we
  have an opportunity and obligation to make a long
  term positive impact on the world.
• And we will seek to enrich the lives of everyone
  we touch in these ways.

How do we turn values into culture?

It starts with leadership . . .

• Values statement was written by the founders
  before the mission statement it does not change
  even if the mission does . . .
• First day of new hire orientation, CEO or
  President (founders) takes an hour with all new
  employees
• All new hires to the management team are
  introduced to the values statement during the
  interview process to determine how they react to
  a values lead company
• It is used and referred to frequently in all
  company meetings in a variety of ways

It is reinforced by the management team

• Embedded into interviews of all employees
• A significant part of all performance reviews
• Used as a framework for giving feedback
  especially tough feedback
• Used as a messaging framework for change
  management
