1541 in Lima.

He explored for Spain and because he heard that
the Incas were rich.

How did they get there?

• By two small ships
• They took with them
• Smallpox and Measles and many more!
• There were sixty men, thirty on each boat.

Francisco Pizarro...
Set sail for gold and power.He had heard stories
from people that the Inca was rich and
powerful.He took over the Inca empire.The Inca
ruler ,Atahualpa, new he wanted gold so he
reached as high as he could to show how much gold
he would give him if he would spare him.Pizarro
killed him anyway.

Lamas on land and reed boats on water.

They adapted to the cold Andes Mountains by
killing animals for their clothes and built warm,
packed in houses. Their religion was
worshiping the sun god, Inti,who granted them
warmness and good crops.
