  • In 1799 he was sent to finish his education in
    Spain

    rise to power
  • Bolivar had no respect for Napoleon as a leader
  • 1807 - Bolivar returned to Venezuela
  • 1808 - Napoleon makes his brother King of Spain

    Spain and the Revolution begins
