fall down flat. And the people shall go up every
man straight before him.

19- Pope Benedict XVI quoted
- the words of Emperor Manuel II Paleologos
- Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new,
and there you will find things only evil and
inhuman, such as his command to spread by the
sword the faith he preached.
20- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has called U.S.
President George W. Bush "the devil" - "Yesterday, the devil came here, right here, and
it smells of sulfur still today," said Hugo
Chavez. - "Yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, from this
rostrum, the president of the United States, the
gentleman to whom I refer as the devil, came here
talking as if he owned the world." -

22 23The Day of the LordJoel 215-1615 Blow the
trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a
sacred assembly16 Gather the people, Sanctify
the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather
the children and nursing babes Let the
bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the
bride from her dressing room.
24The Day of the LordJoel 21717 Let the priests,
who minister to the Lord, Weep between the porch
and the altar Let them say, Spare Your people,
O Lord, And do not give Your heritage to
reproach, That the nations should rule over
them. Why should the nations say, Where is
their God?
25Reading of the WordJoel 212-16Yet even now,
declares the LORD, Return to Me with all your
heart, and with fasting, weeping, and mourning
and rend your heart and not your garments.
26Reading of the WordJoel 212-16Now return to
the LORD yourGod, for He is gracious and
compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in
lovingkindness, and relenting of evil.
27Reading of the WordJoel 212-16Who knows
whether He will not turn and relent, and leave a
blessing behind Him, even a grain offering and a
libation for the LORD your God?
28- Joshua 17-8
- 7 Be strong and very courageous, that you may
observe to do according to all the law which
Moses My servant commanded you do not turn from
it to the right hand or to the left, that you may
prosper wherever you go. - 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your
mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and
night, that you may observe to do according to
all that is written in it. For then you will make
your way prosperous, and then you will have good
success. - 9 Have I not commanded you?
- Be strong and of good courage do not be afraid,
nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with
you wherever you go.
29Reading of the Word2 Corinthians 514-17For the
love of Messiah controls us, having concluded
this, that One died for all, therefore all died
and He died for all, that they who live should no
longer live for themselves, but for Him who died
and rose again on their behalf. Therefore from now
on we recognize no man according to the flesh
even though we have known the Messiah according
to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.
30Reading of the Word 2 Corinthians
514-17Therefore if any man is in the Messiah,
he is a new creature the old things passed away
behold, new things have come.
31Reading of the Word1 Thessalonians 413-18But
we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren,
about those who are asleep, that you may not
grieve, as do the rest who have no hope. For if
we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, even
so God will bring with Him those who have fallen
asleep in Yeshua. For this we say to you by the
word of the Lord, that we who are alive, and
remain until the coming of the Lord, shall not
precede those who have fallen asleep.
32Reading of the Word1 Thessalonians 413-18 For
the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with
the shofar of God and the dead in Messiah shall
rise first. Then we who are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the
clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we
shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort
one another with these words.
33Reading of the Word1 Corinthians
1551-52Behold, I tell you a mystery we shall
not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
shofar for the shofar will sound, and the dead
will be raised imperishable, and we shall be
changed.
34Midrash Ancient Jewish Texts
The shofar blown at mount Sinai, when the Torah
was given, came from the ram which had been
sacrificed in place of Isaac. The left horn was
used for a shofar on Mount Sinai and its right
horn will be blown to herald the coming of
Moshiach. The right horn was larger than the
left, and thus concerning the days of Moshicah it
is written, on that day, a great shofar will be
blown. (Tz'enah Urenah)
