- Opening and Closing of Residence Halls
Apartments - This includes assisting and providing coverage
during vacation periods. - Communication
- Keep residents informed of pertinent information,
meets regularly with area staff and supervisor,
serves as a liaison between Residence Life and
residents.

- You must have a minimum of a 2.50 GPA for the
Fall 2008 semester - You must have a minimum of a 2.50 cumulative GPA
- You must be in good conduct standing with the
University. This process will include a review
of your disciplinary file. Those currently on
Residence Life Probation or University Probation
will not be considered - You must obtain sophomore status by the start of
your employment - You must have been a student at Xavier University
for at least one full semester by the start of
your employment - It is preferred that you have lived in a
residence hall for at least one full semester
prior to the start of your employment

expectations - Recommendations The applicant should turn in all
recommendations to the Office of Residence Life,
3735 Ledgewood Avenue, by 500 p.m. on Wednesday,
January 21, 2009. You must get three
recommendations from the following individuals a
current or former Student Life and Leadership
staff member, preferable someone from Residence
Life Another member of the Xavier Community,
preferable a faculty or staff member Anyone you
choose (i.e., work supervisor, coach)

17(R)esident (A)ssistant Selection Process
- Group Process Each applicant must come to the
Office of Residence Life to sung up for one of
the Group Process interviews when the application
is returned. Group Process interviews will take
place on Friday, January 23, 2009 and Sunday,
January 25, 2009. - Individual Interview Each candidate will have an
individual interview between Monday, January 26,
2009 and Friday, January 30, 2009. You must sign
up for an interview when you turn in your
application. - Notification Decisions will be announced by
letters to each candidate. The letter may be
picked up at the Office of Residence Life, 3735
Ledgewood, after 1000 a.m. on Thursday, February
12, 2009.
