  • 2 of those Officers are paid by the Urban
    Enterprise Zone to Patrol the business district
    2 are also assigned as School Resource Officers
    and paid by the School District (80/20)
  • 1 Chief, 3 Lieutenants, 7 Sergeants

  • 15 Front line marked police vehicles fully
    equipped with computer, radar and digital video
    camera system vehicles average 35,000 miles per
    year
  • Additional vehicles include prisoner van, 2 off
    road motorcycles, 1 patrol cycle, unmarked units

    Road Unit, Bicycle Unit, UEZ Officers
  • DETECTIVE DIVISION- includes General
    Investigation, Juvenile, and Narcotics

    Community Policing, School Resource Officers,
    Animal Control

  • We have almost 300 miles of roadways to patrol
  • In addition to 9 local schools we also have a
    County Community College as well as Deborah
    Hospital

    well as the largest Federal Prison in the nation
    on Ft. Dix
