How we got here

• My parents were divorced when I was in fifth
  grade. A couple years later my mom met a guy from
  Attica New York and they were soon engaged. My
  mom, sister, and I moved here in 1996 after I got
  out of seventh grade. My dad and his side of the
  family primarily still live in California with
  the exception of my Uncle Mike who lives in
  Hudson New York. Most of my moms family is from
  California but the only one who still lives there
  is her older brother Curt Curtis. My moms sister
  Marilla Lolly lives in the state of Washington.

My Background

• Growing up I loved to play sports. I got this
  primarily from my dad who played baseball in high
  school and college. I have been told by him and
  other family members that he couldve went pro.
  This didn't happen because he had a bad attitude
  and his coach black balled him. I started
  playing organized baseball when I was about 6 in
  the form of Tee-ball. I continued playing
  little league baseball until I moved to New York.
  I also played Pop Warner Football from fifth
  grade to seventh grade. My dad coached a few of
  my teams as the years went by.

More Background

• From eighth grade to a little after I graduated
  from high school my sport of choice was
  aggressive in-line skating. Without the
  influence and guidance of my father I no longer
  participated in organized sports. I excelled in
  rollerblading and loved to do it. It was a form
  of expression and it gave me self-confidence. As
  I got older and lazy from the daily grind of
  working I stopped skating. To this day I regret
  not continuing skating and not playing baseball
  or football in high school.
