directions, and he is sent to obedience school by

come home as he paints a bleak picture of the
school, which is a bit exaggerated. Ike makes
his own point-of-view known as he tries to
persuade his owner to let him have his way again.
The black-and-white illustrations emphasize
Ikes point-of-view. Will Gertrude LaRue give in
and let Ike come home and return to his
disobedient ways?
