  (over 90 ) and Swedish (5,5 )
• Capital Helsinki (It's about 25 km from Tuusula)
• Finland is a part of the EU
• Biggest cities are Helsinki, Espoo, Tampere,
  Turku, and Vantaa

• The president Tarja Halonen (also the 1st female
  president in Finland)
• Finland is called "Country of thousand lakes" (we
  have almost 200 000 lakes)
• About 70 of Finlands area is forest
• Midsummer, May Day, Independence Day, and Easter
  are important holidays in Finland
• Independence day is on Dec. 6th. Finland is now
  90 years old (independent since 1917)

• Tuusula lays next to lake Tuusula
• Tuusula had a garrison (since 1865), now there is
  air defence museum on the area

• Old school (50 years old) still quite modern
  facilities
• Located in Hyrylä (administrative center of
  Tuusula metropolis)
• Our school is quite big (some 900 pupils)

• Specialized teacher for each subject
• One term is divided into five periods

• Relaxed and happy but sometimes a bit anxious
• The most popular hobbies dancing, skateboarding,
  drawing, ball-games, reading and computers
