The A.D. 70 Doctrine
The Holy Scriptures teach that the second coming
of Christ, including the establishment of the
eternal kingdom, the day of judgment, the end of
the world and the resurrection of the dead
occurred with the fall of Judaism in A.D. 70.
(Max King, July 1973)

The A.D. 70 Doctrine
The Kingdom of God came with glory and power in
70 AD, not on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2. The
Law of Moses continued in force until 70 AD. The
Second coming of Christ is past, having happened
in 70 AD, and will not occur in the future. The
Day of Judgment came in 70 AD, there will be NO
future judgment day. The End of the world came in
70 AD, the earth will remain forever. The
Resurrection of the dead came in 70 AD, and no
believer will have a bodily resurrection.

eschaton
From 70 AD onwardall are living in the
resurrection, after the return of Christ.

World
This means that during the eschaton the believers
lived in a tension of experienced and anticipated
eschatology between the already and the not
yet. They were already in the kingdom of Christ
(Col. 113), but still waiting for the coming of
the kingdom of God (1 Cor 1524-28). (Max King,
The Cross and the Parousia of Christ, p32)

The A.D. 70 Doctrine
The Kingdom of God came with glory and power in
70 AD, not on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2.
Why have men concluded that the last days refer
to the gospel dispensation? Since there is some
basis for every interpretation of scripture, it
is interesting to observe the reasoning behind
this application. It is based upon another
erroneous concept, namely that the Jewish age
came to a close on Pentecost day. This is assumed
on the basis that Pentecost was the beginning of
the Christian age. The error is in failing to see
the overlapping period of these two ages or
dispensations. Ishmael and Isaac co-existed in
Abrahams house for a time before Ishmael was
cast out. The Jewish age did not end until their
city, temple, and state fell under Roman invasion
in A.D. 66-73. (Max King, The Cross and the
Parousia of Christ, p 78-79).
The Mosaic Age did not completely end until A.D.
70, was not nailed to the cross Col 214.
The Christian Age did not completely begin until
A.D. 70.
The kingdom of Christ the kingdom of God are
not the same. KoC began on Pentecost the KoG at
the destruction of Jerusalem.
During this 40-years the old/new overlapped while
the old was being transformed into the new. The
old was dying in order to be resurrected.
The New Covenant was not completely established
until the fall of the Jewish Commonwealth in A.D.
70. (Affirm Max King in a debate w/ Jim
McGuiggan).

The A.D. 70 Doctrine
The Kingdom of God came with glory and power on
the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, NOT 70 AD.
2 Sam 7 12 When your days are fulfilled and you
rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed
after you, who will come from your body, and I
will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build a
house for My name, and I will establish the
throne of his kingdom forever. 14 I will be his
Father, and he shall be My son.
Acts 2 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and
knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him
that of the fruit of his body, according to the
flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his
throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning
the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was
not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see
corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of
which we are all witnesses.
Acts 2 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and
knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him
that of the fruit of his body, according to the
flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his
throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning
the destruction of Jerusalem, that His soul was
not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see
corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of
which we are all witnesses.

The A.D. 70 Doctrine
The Kingdom of God came with glory and power on
the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, NOT 70 AD.
Dan 713-14 I was watching in the night visions,
and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with
the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of
Days, and they brought Him near before Him. Then
to Him was given dominion and glory and a
kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages
should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting
dominion, which shall not pass away, and His
kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed.
Luke 1912-15 Therefore He said A certain
nobleman went into a far country to receive for
himself a kingdom and to return. So he called
ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas,
and said to them, do business till I come. But
his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation
after him, saying, we will not have this man to
reign over us. And so it was that when he
returned, having received the kingdom . . .
In Daniel the Son of Man ascended into heaven to
be given a kingdom and in Luke the nobleman went
into far country to receive a kingdom.

The A.D. 70 Doctrine
The Kingdom of God came with glory and power on
the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, NOT 70 AD.
1 Corinthians 15 23 But each one in his own
order Christ the firstfruits, afterward those
who are Christ's at His coming. 24 Then comes
the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the
Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all
authority and power.
AD 70 Doctrine At Jesus coming in 70 AD He
completely establishes His kingdom. However, Paul
said Jesus delivers (yields up not set up).
The New Covenant was not completely established
until the fall of the Jewish Commonwealth in A.D.
70. (Affirm Max King in a debate w/ Jim
McGuiggan).

What About Luke 2131?
So you also, when you see these things
happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.
It is assumed that since the context is the
destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., And Jesus
said the kingdom was NEAR, that it was not yet
established, And it would be established when
all these things occurred i.e., the
destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.

What About Luke 2131?
So you also, when you see these things
happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.
Kingdom does not always refer to the same thing!
The Kingdom of O.T. Prophecy (Acts 16). The
Eternal Kingdom of Heaven (2 Pet
110-11). Reign/Rule/Authority of Christ (Mt
633 1225-28 Lk 1721).
When Jerusalem was destroyed Jesus exercised
his regal authority to bring judgment upon a
sinful, rebellious nation, not establish His
kingdom Matt 227, But when the king heard
about it, he was furious. And he sent out his
armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up
their city.

Kingdom established and will continue on earth

a sinful nation!
