Security Fire Protection Mission
Provide standardized and integrated services
globally, which protect people, property, and
information at quality levels valued by our
customers, in compliance with applicable laws and
regulations.

Assumptions
  • Terrorism against the United States will continue
    indefinitely.
  • Potential targets will now include all
facilities, installations and persons in the
    United States, not just overseas.
  • United States government/military reaction or
retaliation will not eliminate the threat of
continued terrorist attack. In fact, retaliation
may exacerbate terrorist activity against the
    United States.
  • The Boeing Company, its facilities, activities
and personnel, and its principal product
commercial aircraft are among the targets of
terrorists, within or outside the United States.

  • The current minimum standards for security and
access controls at Boeing facilities in the
United States are being maintained. These
standards include positive control of all persons
    accessing Boeing facilities. For example
  • A new common company-wide badge was necessary.
  • Control of freight delivery vehicles inside the
perimeter of Boeing facilities was improved.
  • Boeing Security is included in advance
    coordination of mergers, acquisitions, purchases,
leases and divestitures of real property or
    business entities.

7
Boeing Secure Badge
  • A standard badge is used throughout the
    enterprise.
  • It serves as the foundation for a new level of
    computing and physical access security.

Access Management Systems
  • Boeing has a standard enterprise-wide automated
    access protocol.
  • All access systems recognize our SecureBadge as
    the access token.
