2Introduction
Did you know that there is over 103 million
people in Mexico? In my report I am going to talk
about people, the history, the land, and some
other neat stuff about Mexico.
3PEOPLE
The people in Mexico normally eat guacamole,
enchiladas, frijoles, refried beans. They drink
strong coffee, and have delicious custard flan.
On fiesta days many people wear colorful and
decorative costumes.
4LAND
The farmers in Mexico want it to rain because
they want their plants to grow and they need some
rain to. Three largest cities in Mexico are
Mexico City , Guadalajara , and Monterrey. The
capital city is Mexico City.
5History
The first inhabitants were people who probably
migrated into the New World from Asia. The Mayas
and Aztecs lived there since the 10th
century. Mexico gained independence from Spain
in 1821. In 1846 American forces stormed Mexico
City.
6NEAT STUFF
Kangaroo rats are most active at night and spend
the hot days in their burrows. The sea of Cortez
in Mexico, is full of tropical fish. You will
find invertebrates, rays, sailfish, marlin,tuna,
sea turtles, sea lions and whales. Dolphins
commonly play at the bow of the boat while we are
under sail.
