Specialist Information Products - Summary
3MISSION
Identify and prioritize emerging and potential
preventive medicine/public health threats, both
real and perceived, in a systematic manner. Once
those threats are identified, information is
compiled, and, if necessary, developed to convey
those threats and appropriate countermeasures to
service members, their families, military
leaders, health care providers, and other
appropriate audiences. Special focus is given to
ensuring that information products are
appropriately distributed to those who need them.
