1. What is the context of the passage in (1
Thessalonians 413-18)? Paul believed that
Jesus would return during his lifetime. The
Thessalonians were beginning to doubt so Paul was
calling them back to the hope of Christs return.
72. Outline the different examples of hope listed
in (1 Thessalonians 413-18). a. (v. 13) Loved
ones who have died in Christ will be
resurrected. b. (v. 14) Christs resurrection
is our proof.
c. (v. 15) Those who are alive when
Christ returns will not experience death.
