• Talk on only one thing at a time
• Are courteous to everyone
• Allows the majority to rule
• Allows the minority their say

• Everyone should use it in any type of business
  meeting

• 3 or More Maintain Order

Basic Rules

• When starting new motion (idea) say I move to
  or I move that
• Only one person can speak at a time
• To change a motion must say I amend
• Motions can only be amended twice

• Should not Discuss business-only give answers to
  questions
• Votes only to make or break a tie
