- 30-Second Trainings are sent as an interactive
PowerPoint Show to targeted audiences via e-mail. - One of many options on a menu of training
strategies and techniques for Navigators to have
in their toolbox. - Designed to be fast, informative and entertaining
to capture the attention of busy One-Stop staff,
partners and/or employers. - Cover a wide-range of disability and employment
related issues.
5Ways to Use 30-Second Trainings
- To introduce topics and information for the first
time. - To send targeted information relevant to specific
staff, partners, employers, etcvia
e-mail/listserv. - As a stand-alone training.
- To augment other more formal training.
- To lead the end-user to a reputable internet
resource where they can access more comprehensive
information on the 30-Second Training topic.

- Leave the statement 30-Second DPN Trainings are
a National Disability Program Navigator
collaborative effort. Please contact your local
DPN to add a friend or colleague to this list.
at the bottom of the 30-Second Training
PowerPoint. - When saving/sending Be sure to distinguish the
difference between PowerPoint presentation (PPT)
and PowerPoint show (PPS) in the e-mail you send
out. - You want to send the PPS!
- Put your own e-mail address in the To category
in the e-mail you send out with the 30-Second
Training and put the e-mail addresses/listserv in
the BCC category (Blind carbon copy).
