    l supports can do as well as services

Development of the Personal Outcomes Approach by
the JIT
  • Built on research at York University and Glasgow

  • Improving outcomes for users and carers
  • Primarily by building outcomes into practice
    assessment, care/support plan and review
  • Based around the two outcomes frameworks
  • Combines qualitative and quantitative data
    gathering semi-structured conversations and
    scale measures
  • Applying data about outcomes to service planning,
    improvements and performance management
  • Improving outcomes for staff shift from
    processing people to engaging with them
