caters for up to 20 people, whilst adjacent to
the training room is a fully operational
demonstration suite, This room provides the ideal
opportunity to gain practical experience and to
put the detailed theory into practice. The
facilities we have enable us to manufacture to
the highest standard in the most cost
effective way, ensuring we maintain our position
at the forefront of the air conditioning and
heating industry, today and well into the future.

How to become a Mitsubishi Ecodan Contractor
Download from the website or contact us to
request your Heating Partner Programme pack which
contains all you need to know about becoming an
Approved Ecodan Installer. Complete the
application form and the individual engineers
profile forms and supply the appropriate
insurance and qualification certificates.
Mitsubishi Electric will process these and upon
successful review of your application Mitsubishi
Electric will approve this and supply details of
the available training courses. Once the
candidates have attended the training course,
your company will be awarded Approved Ecodan
Installer accreditation and you will receive an
Introduction Pack to the programme.

Requirements
All companies that apply to participate in the
Heating Partner Programme are required to
demonstrate that their installation/maintenance
engineers have obtained the following
qualifications Unvented Hot Water Certificate
It is a requirement under G3 of the building
regulations that anyone installing, commissioning
or maintaining an unvented hot water storage
vessel (a component of Ecodan) is competent to do
so. We accept Unvented Hot Water Certificates
from the following Logic, City Guilds 6019,
NIC, BPEC Building Engineering Services
(CITB) City Guilds 6084 (Certificate in
Energy Efficiency in Domestic Heating). This
course has been designed to enable plumbing
heating engineers to confirm their competence
in The design, installation, service
maintenance of unvented hot water storage
systems. The understanding of central heating
hot water storage systems design installation
issues as they relate to energy conservation
measures as detailed under part L1 of the
building regulations. We also accept Energy
Efficiency in Domestic Heating Certificates from
the following Logic, NIC, BPEC Building
Engineering Services (CITB) Also desirable are
City Guilds 6089, NVQ levels 2 3
Plumbing. Mitsubishi Electric will expect to
review certificates of the engineers that are
attending the training course in order to
validate their Approved Ecodan Installer
application.
