Be Prompt
Come to class on time. Not two minutes late. Be
in your seat when the bell rings. Not across the
room talking to your neighbor. Use the restroom
before class. Dont ask 2 minutes after the bell
rings. Turn in homework when due. Not the next
day. Do your journals when you enter the
room. Not when you feel like it.

Be Polite. Be Respectful.
Dont talk while the teacher is talking. Listen
to others when they are speaking. Dont
interrupt the class. Be polite and respectful to
everyone. Follow school and basic societal
rules. Use your computer for appropriate
on-task purposes. Have a great attitude.

Be Prepared.
Do your homework before class. It will allow you
to participate in class discussions. Have a pen,
pencil, history book, notebook, journal, computer
(charged) and assignments with you in class
everyday and ready when the bell rings. Use the
restroom before class-you have six minutes to get
from one class to mine. Use time wisely in class
to prepare for discussionsdont waste time and
end up unprepared.

Take the Initiative.
Do what needs to be done. Git r done. If you
dont know, ask or come to tutoring, or email me,
or check my website. Find a way to succeed. Do
what it takes. Dont ask if you have to do
something, just do it.

Best work always.
Do your absolute best. You are always either
getting better, or getting worse. Putting forth
effort to get better will payoff.

privileges because you were surfing ESPN.com
while I was teaching Or, if you receive an
alternative assignment because you were
unprepared for a class discussion.
Dont spend all of your time finding out what you
can get away with instead, do the right thing.
