Oxygen, Respiration and Photosynthesis clarified

• Cellular respiration is a chemical reaction that
  requires oxygen and glucose (Note Other carbon
  based molecules like starch, fat or protein can
  be used but they first must be turned into
  glucose by various complicated reactions of
  metabolism) to make energy. Carbon dioxide and
  water vapor are additional products. The energy
  is in the form of ATP. It is an EXERGONIC
  reaction.
• Photosynthesis is a chemical reaction that uses
  carbon dioxide and water to create glucose and
  oxygen! It requires energy to run the reaction
  in the form of sunlight. IT is an ENDERGONIC
  reaction. In general, plants do much more
  photosynthesis that respiration.
