• Machine is a device that make work easier
• Two parts of machines are work input and work
  output.
• Work input is figure by the distance that the
  force that is put into the machine has to move.
• Work output is figured by the distance that the
  resistance force is moved by the machine.
• Machines do not increase the work done.

• Machines make work easier by changing the
  direction or size of the force put into the
  machine.
• Example Pulley
• Efficiency is how close the work output is to the
  work input.
• This is never 100 - Why?
• More friction the less efficient the machine will
  be.
• Mechanical advantage is how much force will be
  gained by the machine.
• How many times does it multiply the effort force?
