  • SCCYSA To Service All U11 and Under Teams
  • This Should Yield Approximately 200 Teams
  • SLYSA To Service All U12 and Older Teams
  • This Should Yield Approximately 345 Teams
  • Benefits
  • Predictable Number of Teams On An Annual Basis
    Would Aid Both Organizations In Budgeting
    Process.
  • Provide Clear Division of Age Groups Eliminating
    The Current Climate Of Who Is Playing Where From
    Season To Season. Advantageous To Our Club
    Members As Well As Our Individual Organizations.
  • Potentially Provide A Standard Field Setup For
    League Games Of Each Organizations Complexes.
    (i.e. Mostly Small-Sided At SCCYSA And Full-Sided
    At SLYSA.)

    Assignors That Serve The St. Louis Area
  • BENEFITS
  • Additional Leverage In Negotiation Of Common
    Contract Between The Assignors And The Leagues
  • Increased Scheduling Flexibility Due To One Large
    Referee Pool
  • Provides Framework For A Joint Effort To
    Re-Establish The Referee Game Fees To A Lower,
    Yet Competitive Level
  • Reduced Operating Expenses For The Leagues That
    Could Be Passed Through To Our Customers Clubs,
    Teams, and Parents
  • Development Of A Fee Structure That Would
    Encourage Quality Referees To Work Both Younger
    and Older Age Group Games

Umbrella proposal
  • PROPOSE
  • SCCYSA And SLYSA Would Together Create An
    Umbrella Organization And Appoint An Independent
    Board Of Three Members
  • The Mission Of Such Board Would Be To Utilize The
    Combined Members Of Both Organizations To Secure
    Additional Tournaments and Sponsorship Dollars
  • Both SCCYSA and SLYSA Will Appoint One Member
    With The Third Chosen By The Clubs
  • No Member Can Sit On The Board Or Be A Paid
    Employee Of Any Of The Appointed Organizations
  • This Agreement Will Be Binding For The
    Organizations To Work Together, But Will Also
    Contain Clauses For Either Party To Terminate
    With Proper Notification And Without Penalty

  • SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENTS
  • The Newly Formed Board Can Not Enter Into
    Agreements Which Have The Following Conditions
  • No Term Longer Than One Year Without Approval
    From Both Organizations
  • Does Not Violate Any Existing Agreements With
    Sponsors That Exist Independent To Each
    Organization
  • Is Not Proper Representation Of The Mission
    Statements Of Both Organizations i.e. Tobacco
    Sponsorship
  • Not Able To Guarantee Sponsorship Placement On
    Participating Teams Apparel Without Prior
    Approval
  • Each Organization Will Clearly Indicate To The
    St. Louis Soccer Community The Sponsorship
    Arrangements Entered Into By This Board And How
    Such Monies Were Utilized For The Betterment Of
    Soccer
  • Each Organization On Its Own Merit Can Secure
    Sponsorship Dollars Which Are Not Required To Be
    Shared Amongst All Parties
  • Agreement Shall State That If It Is Proved By An
    Arbitrator That The Funds Secured By One Party As
    A Result Of Action Of This Board Will Be
    Reimbursed To The Other Organization At The Rate
    Of 200

  • PURPOSE
  • SCCYSA and SLYSA Will Work Together To Formulate
    A Common Tournament Plan That Will Utilize Both
    Complexes For St. Louis Hosted Tournaments
  • It Is The Intent To Attract Predominant
    Tournaments To The St. Louis Region Including
    State, Regional, and National Competitions
  • PROPOSE
  • All Sanctioned Tournaments Are Held At Both
    Complexes
  • This Would Require An Understanding With Clubs
    and Parks Hosting Tournaments
  • Set Standard Pricing Of Hosting Such Tournaments
    To Be Shared Based On A Per Game Level Played At
    Each Complex
  • Division Of Tournament Play Based On The Division
    Of Team Play Within Leagues
  • This Would Allow Both Organizations To Share In
    Revenue While League Games Continue During Such
    Weekends
  • Diminish Usage Of Fields For Such Tournaments
