Planned Outcomes

• To revise schemes of work, embedding e-learning
  methodologies
• To identify and develop ILT resources for staff
  and learners
• To produce a catalogue of e-learning materials
• To raise skill levels of ITT staff through a CPD
  programme
• To audit effects of the project on staff and
  students
• To produce case studies to illustrate the
  effective use of ILT in ITT

Achievements

• Initial skills audits conducted, including staff
  and students, good response rates
• First year ITT Schemes of work have been revised
  to indicate possible ILT applications
• Resources have been identified, new and old
  resources have been developed (TwILT, Blackboard
  and WebCT)
• CPD - Skill levels have been raised in two ways
• Raised awareness of methods through showcase
  events
• Improved skills through coaching

Issues/Unintended outcomes

• Case Studies we will cover staff and students
  and illustrate a range of skills development
• Catalogue of materials danger of duplicating
  existing lists. ITT trainees evaluations will
  concentrate on evaluating suitability of methods
  for approaches to learning (JISC, 2004,
  Effective Practice with e-Learning)
