• In this project you will create your own
  universe. Along your voyage you will do the
  following
• Describe characteristics of your universe, such
  as stars galaxies,
• Explain your distances in light years and
• Research and describe scientific theories about
  the origin of the universe.

Your imagination is your only limitation.

Requirements

• Your universe must have stars, constellations,
  planets and galaxies!

Formation

• You must research, choose and explain one of the
  following theories for the formation of your
  universe
• Big Bang Theory
• Oscillating Theory
• Steady State Theory

Galaxies

• You must include at least 3 galaxies, one of each
  of the following
• Spiral
• Elliptical
• Irregular
• And describe each

You need a minimum of 3 constellations that you
design, Name and show the shape.

• You need a minimum of 5 stars
• Giant star
• Super giant star
• White dwarf
• Black dwarf
• neutron

• None can be the same you may have more than the
  5, but not less and you need to know the
  following information about your stars
• Name
• Temperature- (Celsius)
• Brightness
• Apparent magnitude
• Absolute magnitude

Planets

• Minimum of 3 planets
• A) name
• B) length of day/night
• C) length of year
• D) number of moons
• 1) How often do you have day/night?
• E) Do you have seasons and why?
• F) Life on your planets?
• 1) What life
• 2) How do they exist?

• You will also need 3 of the following to make
  Your universe complete (none of the same)
• Nebulae Pulsars
• Black holes
• Quasars Supernovas
• Plus describe and name them!

Each part of your universe must have the distance
from a set point Ex from the sun to the
Earth From the sun to planet Roany

Bonus?

• You may earn bonus points, by explaining the age
  of two objects from your universe.
• This will require you to explain Carbon Dating!
• You know you want the POINTS and the adventure!!

• You will work with a partner or in small groups
  as approved bygt yep, you got it, the TEACHER!
• You will get some class time to work on this.
• And it is due on October 14, 2005
