Reading Strategies
  • Focus on one strategy at a time, and spend
    time practicing that strategy over several
    lessons. Research tells us that a strategy will
    have to be reinforced up to 7 times before it
    becomes automatic!

    order to become independent, lifelong readers.
  • Make sure the text provides opportunities for
    teaching the objectives.
