4INTERREG IIIB and PHARE programming 2000-2006
- During the period 2000-2006 financial assistance
from the European Communities to the candidate
countries of Central and Eastern Europe will be
provided through three instruments Phare
programme, ISPA and Sapard. - Phare programme covers national programmes, cross
border and multi-country programmes and take
account of the fact that, since the other two
instruments have sectoral objectives, Phare
should continue to provide general assistance to
the candidate countries to help them prepare for
accession.
