One of the most successful university athletic
programs in Canada
  • 16 Teams in 8 different sports
  • Basketball, Cross Country/Track, Field Hockey,
    Golf, Rowing, Rugby, Soccer, Swimming
  • 326 Varsity Student-Athletes from across campus
    (not including novice and developmental athletes)
  • 11 full-time and 20 part-time coaches
  • 64 national championship titles

Our Student-Athletes
  • 60 Vikes athletes received Academic All-Canadian
    status for 2008-09 and were recognized at the
    Academic All-Canadian Luncheon
  • Of the 326, 2009-10 varsity roster - 240 are
    from BC - 81 are from other provinces and
    - 5 are from out of the country
  • Of the 240 from BC - 79 are from Victoria
    - 39 from Vancouver Island - 81 from the
    Lower Mainland and - 41 are from other
    parts of BC
