Title: Holiday Time, According to Mr. Lewis
1Holiday Time, According to Mr. Lewis
- By Mr. Lewis
- Periods 1-3 and 5-6
- December 2002
2Holiday time means something different to each
individual. To me, holiday time means joy
because I cherish being with my family, playing
with friends, and having time on my own.
3Joy with My Family
- I find joy being with my family during holidays
because I love my family.
The Lewis Family Matt, Haley, Marge, and me
4Joy with My Family (continued)
- Another member of my family is Riley, my dog.
During the holidays, I enjoy playing with her,
but if the truth be known, I play with her all of
the time when I am home.
5Joy with Friends
- Holiday time brings me joy because I like being
with my friends. One thing that my friends and I
like doing is playing music.
Here are my friends (with me), playing music at
Valley Plaza during summer break 2001.
6Joy with Friends (continued)
- My friends and I do crazy things. Here is a
photo of Kenny and me during Halloween. We
usually find fun in whatever we do.
I am really sticking my hand through Kennys
head, really.
7Joy on My Own
- Holiday time also gives me time to do things on
my own. I find pleasure in writing music, being
online, recording music, taking care of my home,
golfing, riding my mountain bike, and walking on
the beach.
I enjoy walking on the beach. Here is a photo of
Laguna Beach that I took on my honeymoon in 2001.
8Joy on My Own (continued)
- Riding my mountain bike brings me joy. I like to
get out in the hills and tackle the dirt.
Usually, the dirt wins.
9Holiday Time Brings Me Joy
- All in all, holiday time brings me happiness
because it is during holidays that I can spend
quality time with my wife and children, visit
with my friends, and find solitude on my own. I
love holiday time.
