1Employee Reviews 5 Tier Performance Plan VIA
Menu Options when action Cannot be accessed
from the Work List
NOTE Only use the Menu options after you have
verified you do not have a work list action. It
is very seldom that you would need to use menu
options to take the review action.
2Select internet explorer
3Enter the URL https//icams.usda.gov/
4Read the warning and select I agree to the
above.
5Enter your EmpowHR user ID and password And click
on HRIS Sign In
6Click on Employee self-service.
7Click on Tasks.
8Click on Performance.
9Click on Existing Plan.
10Select the plan for employee review.
11Click on the elements and standards tab to view
the 5 tier elements and measures established for
the plan.
12Click on view all to see all the elements and
measures in the plan.
13After reviewing all the elements and measures in
the plan, the employee clicks on the performance
plan tab.
14- Click in ONE of the boxes to enter a check mark
certification. - NOTE The employee must enter a check mark in
ONE of the boxes.
2. Dont forget to click on SAVE.
15CAUTION TO EMPLOYEE! Ensure that you
have entered a check mark in one of the 2 boxes
in the employee box. Regulations require that
you have a performance plan on file. You are
responsible to review/discuss your plan with
your supervisor and to fully understand
every element and how your performance of that
element will be measured. If you dont
understand, ASK, ASK, ASK!
16Ensure there is a check mark in each of the 3
boxes identified employee, supervisor, and
reviewer. Each check mark represents an
electronic signature. I.E. For each check
mark Entered, an electronic signature will print
on the hard copy of the document. For the 5 tier
plan to be complete/legal there must be 3
signatures on the plan.
17After the employee certifies View/discussion, the
plan will Flow back to the Supervisor For Final
Review
