4Aims
- To provide an interface between physics
simulations (HERWIG, PYTHIA) and ATLAS detector
simulations (ATHENA, ATLFAST). - To use this to investigate methods of measuring
WW ? WW events at the LHC with the ATLAS
detector.
5Higgs branching ratios for Hmass 500 GeV (pp-gtH)
6My jet analysis algorithm
CALCULATE m2jet pair (E1 E2 )2 - (p1 p2 )2
PLOT mjet pair AGAINST NUMBER OF EVENTS
7Jet mass against number of events for H ? W1 /Z1
W2 /Z2 ? hadrons
8Jet mass against number of events for H ? W1 W2
? e ? 2jets
9Transverse energy and rapidity
10PHI Distribution
11- Other Future Developments
- The perceived superiority of the Kt jet algorithm
over the cone jet algorithm could be tested. - ATLFAST could be interfaced with another monte
carlo simmulator called HERWIG and the results
could then compared with the PYTHIA-ATLFAST
package.

We shall not cease from exploration and the end
of all our exploring will be to arrive where we
started and know the place for the first time.
