31ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
- If your first language is not English, you must
submit evidence that you are capable in the
English language. The College will accept one of
the following - TOEFL - achieve a score of 550 on the paper test
or 213 on the computer based test. - a minimum grade of 60 in English 30 (or
recognized equivalent) - IELTS - achieve a minimum score of 6.5 overall,
with at least 5.5. on each band score - CAEL - achieve a minimum score of 60 overall,
with at least 60 on each band score - MELAB - achieve a minimum score of 85 overall,
- with at least 80 on each band score
- Level 5 of our ESL Certificate can be used for
Red Deer - College's Certificate and Diploma Programs
32- Academic Requirements
- Present the appropriate entry-level credentials
that are considered to be equivalent to the
Alberta Provincial System of secondary education
in addition to the appropriate subjects. In
general, an equivalent system will represent a
total of 12 years of primary and secondary
education. - Courses from secondary education in the last year
