  • 1995 - CBU received NSF - ILI grant for
    Integrated Laboratory for Manufacturing Education.
  • Integrate undergraduate instructions in modern
    design method, agile manufacturing, and automated
    assembly.
  • Utilize the state-of-the-art mechanical design
    software - Pro/ENGINEER?.

What is Pro/ENGINEER ?
A parametric, feature-based solid modeling system
Parametric You can define or modify a features
dimension or other attribute at any time. Any
changes will automatically propagate through the
model. You can relate dimensions in numeric
formula.
Feature-based Create parts and assemblies by
defining features like extrusions, sweeps, cuts,
holes, slots, etc.
Solid Modeling Computer model is able to
contain all the information that a real solid
object would have.
