Target Audience This module seeks to identify
effective use of ICT across the curriculum. The
emphasis will be on the implementation and
integration of ICT in enquiry learning and in
problem solving. This will involve the
exploration of a range of ICT applications and
their use in educational settings. The module
will focus on the potential of integrated
approaches to ICT, in the development of their
own practice in the support of learning.
Objectives The module will enable
participants to evaluate the use of ICT in
relation to specific objectives for cognitive and
social learning taking account of the
characteristics of the learners (age phase,
ability). In the light of their developing
knowledge and understanding of the applications
of ICT resources for enhancing learning and
teaching, students will critically assess the
effectiveness of their integration within their
own professional situation. Teaching

will undertake a supervised study designed to
enhance an aspect of their practice through the
use of ICT and to prepare a report of their
enquiries for dissemination to a wider audience.
