Licensing Terms
  • Single User License.
  • MSDN Subscriptions are licensed on a single user
    basis. In other words, every individual using the
    resources provided by an MSDN Subscription must
    have a valid MSDN Subscription license. Media and
    passwords can be shared with other licensed
    users.
  • Development and Testing Only.
  • Products that ship with MSDN Subscriptions are
    for development and testing only and cannot be
    used in a live production environment.
  • MSDN Subscription Include a Perpetual License.
  • Customers still have the right to use software
    that was included in their MSDN Subscription as
    long as they do not share it with non-licensed
    users and use the software for development and
    testing purposes only.

    SKU's at each level of Select and EA.

    Select/Enterprise Agreement SOLUTION Sell the
    one Year MSDN LSA SKU
  • The customer has two years and two months
    remaining on their Select/Enterprise Agreement
    SOLUTION 1 If the customer can wait two
    months, then sell them the two year MSDN LSA SKU
    SOLUTION 2 If the customer can not wait two
    months, then sell the two year LSA SKU and then
    escalate to EMEA Marketing (two additional months
    can be added once the two year SKU is active)
  • The customer has one year and nine months
    remaining on their Select/Enterprise Agreement
    SOLUTION Sell the two Year MSDN LSA SKU, you
    can discuss with EMEA Marketing a price discount
