reasoning.
- ANALYZE LEARNERS This class is composed of only
juniors and seniors. The students are good math
students (above average). All students in this
class have completed Geometry and Algebra II.
This group of students enjoy hands on activities
that require output information. This class as a
group are visual, kinesthetic learners. - STATE OBJECTIVES The learner will organize and
consolidate their mathematical thinking through
communication. They will apply and adapt a
variety of appropriate strategies to solve
problems. - METHODS, MEDIA AND MATERIALS This lesson will
require the use of the computer lab or library to
access the Internet for data. The students will
also require time in the lab to prepare their
presentation. - EVALUATION Grading will follow the rubrics for
the presentation. The student handout will also
be graded as a mean of determining data
comparisons and rational for conclusions.
