Conclusions
  • Low levels of dead residue did not impact
    herbicidal control.
  • Heavy residue improved control.
  • A. Reduced pigweed emergence
  • B. Delayed pigweed emergence and growth
  • Heavy residue likely eliminated much of the
    activity of PRE herbicides placing more
    pressure on Staple POST
