How the program worked at Enka High

• Met with the entire sophomore class (400
  students) to detail program.
• Narrowed the students to those who were
  interested in participating in the program (120
  students participated in a lunch and learn)
• Following lunch and learn, 50 students signed up
  to visit the estate to learn more about the A-B
  Tech/Biltmore Estate
• After visiting the estate, 23 students shadowed
  professionals on the estate (on a teacher
  workday)
• Students signed up for internships on the estate

Whats next

• Follow up with Enka and Erwin students to see who
  is interested in continuing in internships/apprent
  iceships
• Expand areas of interest to include agriculture,
  business, and transportation
• Continue partnership with A-B Tech and Biltmore
• Involve Asheville City and Madison County Schools
  in internship program
