First Feature

• One of the features of the ocean floor is the
  continental margins. It is a line that divides
  the continental crust from the oceanic crust. The
  real boundary lies a distance offshore.
• Shorelines are not the true boundaries between
  the ocean floor.

Second feature

• The second feature is the continental shelf. This
  specific shelf slopes gently from the shoreline.
• The width of the continental shelf varies.

Third feature

• The certain boundary of the continental crust and
  the oceanic crust is found as the base of the
  continental slope.
• Sediments that are from a raised wedge near the
  base of the continental slope is called
  continental rise.

Trenches

• Deep in the ocean basin are the deepest features
  in the world. These things are called trenches.
  The biggest trench in the world is the Mariana
  trench which is over 11,000 m deep.
