  • Everyone can learn to lead by discovering

    a difference and being prepared when the call to
    lead comes.

childhood toys have already taught you some
secrets of successful leadership. Do you
remember playing with any of these Lego bricks
- Slinky toys Play Doh
- Yo Yo Toy Soldiers

  • LEGO BRICKS - Connecting
  • You must grow in your profession by making
    connections like Lego bricks
  • You must connect to others and build
    relationships
  • PLAY-DOH - Ability to be shaped
  • Like Play-Doh, professionals resemble whatever
    makes an impression on them. The mold you choose
    will make the difference in the person you
    become.
  • Play-Doh is durable you can smash it, roll it,
    pull it and it remains. Like Play-Doh you need
    to have consistent integrity.

  • Becoming a professional and a leader is very much
    like a Yo-Yo. It remains dormant until it is
    released.
  • As a leader stop talking and start doing.
  • Remember your first idea is seldom the best one,
    so keep the yo-yo spinning

  • Like when you played with toy soldiers teachers,
    coaches and leaders learn to formulate strategic
    plans of strikes and counterstrikes.

    preparation increases your odds for success.
