- Approximately 4/5ths of courses emphasised
pedagogy and theoretical basis with less
attention on practical application - Best courses maximised the time in taught
sessions and self study, linking the two
components well to help consideration of
citizenship teaching and learning in their own
schools. -
- Participants were unclear about accreditation

- 30 Credit module that can be delivered to QAA
and Level 7, the emphasis of this module is
developing the participants professional
knowledge and practice - Flexible assessments with three distinct
assessment packages - Case study

- Critical review of literature
- Self-evaluation/audit
- The DCSF Certificate will be awarded to course
members who complete a satisfactory portfolio. - Articulation
- 30 Level 7 credits APCL towards the UoP
Integrated Masters Programme - We are working towards incorporating 30 Level 7
credits APCL towards the Masters of Teaching and
Learning (MTL) Phase 3
