3Problems with Al-Plate ID numbers
Since version V6.0 of the QC document, Al-Plates
are assigned different ID numbers according to
the UP and DOWN faces. Unfortunately, the db
structure cannot stand 8 Al-Plate objects inside
one super-layer, needs a one-to-one
correspondence between ID-numbers and
objects Proposal Only the UP ID of Al-Plates is
stored in the DB (the DOWN ID only for the fifth
Al-Plate) The DOWN ID can be mantained only for
completenes of the information, but it cannot be
used to identify the plate. Up and Down flags
have to be used in the data-cards

There is a problem with manpower Best solution
would be to have someone else taking over the db
business The only way to use the db is to adapt
as much as possible your ascii outputs to the
present schema
