• No LAN box auto-reset on power cycle or ethernet
  disconnect/reconnect
• LAN box must be available on IOC boot
• No sharing LAN box with multiple IOCs
• PV STAT could be more explicit on failure (ie,
  use TIMEOUT or COMM)
