• The BC Hydro-Accenture deal
• Has never been made public
• Provides no insurance employees are treated
  fairly
• Changes in 7 years, meaning Accenture will be
  free to take thousands of BC jobs offshore
• Has not been proven to be good for BC

• Accenture is a foreign outsourcing company
  which now controls and operates one third of
  BC Hydro
• They manage your personal financial records
  and in March 2006, lost 5,000 BCH payroll
  records.
• In May 2006, the BC Government made it legal
  for our records to be stored in the US
  (subject to US Patriot Laws)

• About BCs power resource
• BC Liberals have forbidden BCH from generating
  any new electricity
• Instead, independent power producers (IPPs)
  will develop all power in BC
• IPP contracts are 20-30 years, after which
  they can sell power and water anywhere they
  choose

• We enjoy some of the lowest rates in North
  America
• BCH will purchase new power from IPPs at
  higher rates
• The costs will be passed on to British
  Columbians, who own the resource in the
  first place
• Gone will be price stability
