loan of 18,000 negatives of historic Great Lakes
vessels
2006-2008 CDMP digitization effort resulted in
all 18,000 negatives scanned
11Newly acquired negatives largely represent 20th
century vessels
Filled a major gap in the Thunder Bay Sanctuary
Research Collection and strengthened our
partnership with the Alpena County Library
The collection is owned by NOAA and housed at ACL
