Elephants
  • The elephant is the largest mammal that lives on
    land. It is one of the most intelligent animals.
    Elephants have thick gray skin and very little
    hair. African elephants stand 13 feet (4 meters)
    tall at the shoulder. They weigh up to 11,000
    pounds. They can live up to 71 years. There are
    only two kinds of elephants.

Panda
  • A panda is a furry mammal and it also eats
    bamboo. They live in one part of China. There are
    only about 1000 giant pandas left in the world.
    Pandas are endangered because the bamboo that
    they eat is disappearing.

  • A monkey is a mammal. It belong to the same
    group as apes and humans banging. Monkeys have
    strong arms and legs. They are good climbers and
    runners. Monkeys live in groups called troops.

    fur helps them hide. Their lungs help them run
    fast. A cheetah is a meat eater. A female takes
    very good care of there babies. Cheetahs can

Monkey
  • They live in Africa, Asia, and South
    America. Enemies are birds, snakes, larger
    animals, and people. Troops can range in size
    from 20 to 200. Strong tails to use as
    extra arm for climbing and for balance.
    There are more then 130 kinds of monkeys. Some
    monkeys live in trees and some live on
    the ground. Some monkeys have tails some do
    not.

Elephant
  • The elephant is the strongest mammal on land. A
    male is called a bull and a female is called a
    cow. An elephant can eat 440 pounds of grass and
    leaves every day and drink more than 25 gallons
    of water at a time. There is two kinds of
    elephants. Cows and calves live together in
    groups called herds.

    city is Tokyo. The longest river is Shin no, it
    is 228 miles long. The length of Japan is 144,687
    square miles long. In Japan the natural resource
    is fish.

    have strong legs to hop and run. Rabbits live in
    many places such as woods, houses and many other
    places. Rabbits go through a life cycle. Rabbits
    and hares have long front teeth. Rabbits eat lots
    of vegetation. There are different kinds of
    rabbits.

  • A leopard is a mammal. It is a member of the cat
    family. Most leopards live on grassy plains .
    Leopards live in Africa and Southern Asia.
    Leopards also live in very hot areas and in high
    mountains.

    can eat 60 pounds of meat at one sitting.
    Tigers are good swimmers. Baby tigers are called

Cheetahs
  • Unlike other cats the claws of a cheetah are
    always out. Female cheetahs like to live alone.
    Except for when it has babies. Male cheetahs live
    with their brothers. This is how they hunt.
    The cheetah is the worlds fastest animal in the
    wild. A cheetah can run 70 miles per hour.
