internet-based system combining research-based
interests, skills, values assessments with
portfolio development and comprehensive
educational and occupational exploration
resources.

assessments in the FC Career Planning System,
they will have access to comprehensive
occupational information. Information of each
occupation includes a description, job outlook,
wages, typical tasks, education/training, and
more.

- For students interested in transferring to a
4-year college or university, search and
comparison features will allow for making solid
educational choices. Students will have access
to college contact information, campus facts,
admission costs, majors/programs, graduations
rates, and more.
12Resume Builder
- Students can create and store several web-based
resumes in a Career Portfolio. With a click of a
button, a resume can be change from a
Chronological to a Functional format. Students
can send employers a link of their resume along
with a cover letter through the program.
13Job Interview Planning
- Students will have step-by-step instructions on
what to expect and how to prepare for a job
interview. Information includes Objectives of
the Interview, Preparing for an Interview, Common
Interview Questions, Stages of the Interview, and
Following up after the Interview.
14State and Federal Job Banks
- For those who are currently seeking employment
or who will seek employment in the future,
students will always have access to state and
federal job banks 24 hours a day from any
Internet connection.
